Drug business triggers crime: Relating crime and legalized drugs

Drug business triggers crime not just in your neighborhood but it cut across all nations in the global market. There are organized drug cartels in many countries that use the proceeds of these to fund criminal activity which means that there is an ongoing battle between them and the authorities. Because of this, the debate that is going on is whether to legalize the use of these drugs or not. Supporters of this school of thought say that it would reduce crime since addicts would not have to resort to criminal behavior to fund their habit. The costs of drugs could be controlled and set a rate which addicts could afford without having to steal in order to do so. Plus these drugs could be taxed and the revenue from these used to fund drug rehabilitation treatment.

There is also the possibility that doing this will lessen the attraction. Many of us enjoy something which is considered to be ‘forbidden fruit’ and part of that attraction is the knowledge that what we are doing has an element of risk. However, opponents of this claim that it would lead to many more addicts, which would place an extra burden on taxpayers, the authorities and the State as a whole. What do you do with people who are addicted to committing an offense? They may or may not be addicted to drugs but they still have an addiction, which in this case is committing a crime. There is no easy answer to this and a lot is still being done primarily to find a lasting solution to this problem. Nonetheless, the questions being raised are very fundamental and cannot just be ignored. And while that debate is still on, if you or any of your friends is struggling with any kind of addiction, this is a disease which needs to be addressed promptly. Professionally, doctor Dalal Akoury MD is a veteran addiction expert for more than two decades and has been helping many patients across the globe. You can schedule an appointment with her today to help you in addressing this great calamity in your life.

Drug business triggers crime: Addiction and crime prevention measures

Crime is normally first propagated in the mind before its execution and so the wellness of the mind is a perfect remedy for everyone. And while we appreciate that drug addiction is well connected with the crime, the two can be separated and dealt with individually. It will be an uphill task for the authority to ensure that drug barons are arrested because many of them are always walking free while their little clients are the ones being arrested and when they are arrested, they have the resources to buy their way out into the street again. This element of corruption must stop for our society to be safe. Therefore, the option of treatment is the best and it will need experts for it to be helpful to the addicts. And like we had stated above, you can consider calling Dr. Dalal Akoury for the commencement of your recovery journey into perfect and productive life away from all substance of abuse now.

Over the past two decades, doctor Akoury has been very instrumental in offering solutions to all people across the globe and in her experience, she came across one client whose story will be very useful for many parents with addicted children. According to this client, about five years ago their son was 27-year-old and was so much addicted to alcohol drinking that finally led to the usage of other strong drugs (cocaine to be specific). For more than one year they were in the dark about his new habit until he was out of control and that is when he lost his job this really caught our pants down because of his life and that of our grandson the client said. We could not believe how ignorant and blind we were until it all started to make sense when our son was consistently broke, weird phone calls, not showing up for family events, his actions, and his physical appearance. At this point, the reality down on us and we tried to help him by enrolling him in treatment programs one after the other. It was difficult because the response was very discouraging but we kept telling him how much we loved him. In solidarity, we began attending recovery meetings.

Childhood substance abuse: Learning the consequences of addiction the hard way

To cut the long story short it reached a point when we realized that it was beyond our control and we were prepared for the worst but even as we were in that situation, we still told him how much we loved him even though at this time we also needed to take care of ourselves. And so very painfully we detached with love. Our house was still open for him and he would come for meals and to shower but he could not live with us anymore, nor would we give him any financial assistance. As fate would have it he who was never taught by his parents would be taught by the world and so he was arrested and we did not bail him out. He was so angry with us, but we still maintained our love for him. He was sentenced to go to a treatment program. He had only the clothes on his back, not even a pair of shoes, and it was winter. We did not give him anything but told him to call when he was settled in his new home and that we still loved him. At this point, he knew he was losing his family and possibly his son. That was about four years ago. Today our son has gone through treatment, is working on a recovery program and has custody of his son. We all take it a day at a time. We want to thank doctor Dalal Akoury and her team of experts at AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center for their professional insight that has brought transformation to our son even if it was through the hard way. You can make yours easier by contacting doctor Akoury today.

Ending addiction chains: Alcohol energy drinks

When we talk about drug addiction, the first thing that ring into your mind is the misuse of hard drugs like cocaine, heroin, marijuana, cigarette, alcohol and many more. In very rear cases will you find people associating drug addiction with energy drinks yet they form serious part of substances that are very addictive. Because we desire to kick out this scourge of addiction out of our lives, we are not going to relent until everything is put on the surface for everyone to take action on. It is therefore very important to appreciate that, caffeinated alcoholic beverages (CAB’s) or Alcohol energy drinks (AED’s) as they are commonly known are premixed beverages that contain not only alcohol but also include caffeine and other stimulants. They are often sold in very attractive and luring tall, narrow cans similar to non-alcoholic energy drinks, which are popular drinks among teens. And in many cases they are marketed with content that carry teen-friendly names and contain a lot of sugar and flavoring.

Finally, take note that a typical can has about as much caffeine as a large cup of coffee, along with additives like guarana and ginseng that can speed up the central nervous system. This may come to you as harmless as their producers wants you to believe, but be worn that if you are committed into breaking addiction chains effectively, then these energy drinks should also be a no go zone.
