Testosterone manipulation effects is very common with change of seasons

Testosterone manipulation effects: Testosterone restoration

Having understood the importance of having enough testosterone in our previous article, we now want to look at the effects of testosterone manipulation that comes with seasons. We are going to speak to doctor Dalal Akoury MD President and founder of AWAREmed health and wellness resource center about this to get some clarity. Professionally, doctor Akoury reiterates that seasonal changes in testosterone levels in male mountain spiny lizards are correlated tightly with seasonal changes in the intensity of the aggressive territorial defense.

That is to say, testosterone levels are lowest in the winter when males aggregate, are moderately elevated during the summer when males show low-intensity territorial defense and are highest during the fall breeding season when males show high-intensity territorial defense. In one of the studies conducted about the hypothesis that, changes in testosterone levels cause these seasonal changes in territorial behavior. The experimentally increased and decreased circulating testosterone levels in free-living males during the summer, when they display non-breeding season territoriality. It was established that artificially increasing testosterone levels to levels equivalent to the breeding season significantly increased some, but not all, measures of territorial aggression. Levels of aggression attained, however, were still well below those typical of breeding season males. This implies that the transition to full breeding season levels of aggression is caused only partly by an increase in testosterone levels.

Castration of males during the summer had no effect on several measures of territorial aggression. Thus the activation of nonbreeding season territoriality, which precedes testicular recrudescence by several months, is relatively unaffected by testosterone levels. Taken together these results suggest that the same behavior, in this case, territorial aggression, may be controlled by different mechanisms in different seasons.

Testosterone manipulation effects: Variable affecting testosterone production

Testosterone production is affected by many variables such as diet, exercise, stress, and supplements. Here are the take-home messages that are essential for your constant supply of testosterone:

  • Eat a medium to high protein, healthy fat diet.
  • Weight train, focusing on whole body exercises that require large muscle stimulation.
  • Reduce stress, drink adequate water and get plenty of sleep.
  • Consider supplements to naturally support the body’s ability to produce more testosterone.

Doing these four things can help restore healthy testosterone levels so you can reap all its benefits. Finally, noting for the give ways, you may want to consider engaging some levels of professionalism in your approach. And if this describes your intention, we have some good news for you. It will interest you to note that because of this need and much more, doctor Akoury established a medical center to primarily help transform each individual’s life through increasing awareness about health and wellness and by empowering individuals to find their own inner healing power. And in all this doctor Akoury’s practice focuses on personalized medicine through healthy lifestyle choices that deal with primary prevention and underlying causes instead of patching up symptoms. That is why if you want to know more about testosterone manipulation effects, you can schedule an appointment with her on telephone number 843 213 1480 for a one on one professional discussion.

Understanding hormones and their functions

Understanding hormones and what they do in the body: Effective communications between cells

Understanding hormones

With a better understanding hormones when kept at youthful levels all the time, we will age slowly and gracefully

For a better understanding hormones are the body’s emissaries (messengers) responsible for the effective coordination of all vital repair, recovery and regeneration in the body and without them we cease to live a productive life, meaning that in their absence we simply degenerate. You may be wondering why get the knowledge of hormones, if that describe you, then you are at the right place because we want to help you appreciate the importance of being equipped with the knowledge of hormones. One of the functions of hormones is to keep us looking young and more youthful. That is one point many would want to identify with and we are not going to disappoint you. Keep reading and be one of the first to know with the experts from AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center. This facility was founded by doctor Dalal Akoury MD, and it is home of great professional in various discipline ready to help you with all the medical concerns you may be having.

Now about keeping young doctor Akoury says that all you need to do to keep youthful is to ensure that your hormones are kept at youthful levels all the time, this way you will age slowly and gracefully. Remember that these substances (hormones) are made by special organs in our bodies and are disseminating communications between cells and organs giving instructions to do specific tasks. Their communication channels are consistent between each other through feedback loops. The balance and quantity of hormones directly and almost solely affects how our bodies function. Good balance and quantities translates into energy, weight control, sexual vigor, and youthful appearance, recovery from daily stress and physical activity and overall sense of well-being. Imbalance and lack leads to fatigue, sleep disturbance, sexual dysfunction, depression, impaired immune function, chronic illnesses, disease, “lack of thriving”, degenerative state of decline, debility and earl death.

Understanding hormones and their functions: The master glands

In our quest of understanding hormones, it is important to note that they are closely involved in every body function. And besides that they are even more than the later meaning that every cell has a receptor site for a hormone to communicate with the cell to turn it on, off, vary its rate, repair and coordinate the complex dance of this performance. For these hormones to functions well, they must be subjected to some control mechanism. What we are communicating is that the quantity of hormones secreted into the body systems is controlled by two glands in the brain; the hypothalamus and the pituitary. They were named the “master glands” however, doctor Akoury agrees that this may not be a good definition now that we know communication happens at many other levels than this small area in the frontal brain.

Hormones are also produced by the sex organs: ovaries and the testies, adrenal glands located above the kidneys, the pineal gland in the center of the brain, the thyroid, in front of the voice box and it is now known that even the bodies tissues can make certain hormones. Some of the sex hormones commonly known to us may include:

  • Estrogen
  • Progesterone
  • Testosterone

As we progress into the discussion, we will explain more about each of them but in the meantime it is important to note that both men and women have fat cells that can make estrogen and the more fat the more estrogen produced. The actions of these hormones are interrelated, symbiotic and essential to human existence. Their actions are both positive and negative. The balance and interaction between the sex hormones determines the presence or absence of symptoms, the recovery or lack and a degenerative state. Estrogen and progesterone are the dominant hormones in women. Estrogen is a broad name for a class of female hormones; Estradiol, Estrone and Estriol. Estradiol has the strongest physiologic force and the one to carefully monitor if one is supplementing. Estriol is the weakest of the female hormone estrogens.

A significant shortcoming in our understanding hormones is the belief that estrogen, progesterone and testosterone can act independently of one another at any time during our lives. This simply cannot happen and to look at it this way is mechanistic and lacks the full understanding of how the body is designed to seek equilibrium by a mechanism that we label homeostasis.

Unless we totally incorporate into our understanding the inseparability of the three sex hormones and the others we cannot solve the problems caused by their imbalances. As experts from AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center, we are very much concern when we see how people are mishandling certain basic things wrongly which lead into serious consequences. To this effect we resolved not to sit and watch but come out strongly and offer solutions. This is what we do best and it doesn’t matter whether you are struggling with addiction or hormone imbalance, you can get all these help under one roof with doctor Dalal Akoury. Hormone Pellet Therapy for Men

Hormone Pellet Therapy for Men in Myrtle Beach, SC

Hormone Pellet Therapy

Hormones play a crucial role in how your body functions. Keeping balanced hormone levels is extremely important for your health, physical shape and well-being. As a man ages, his body becomes less effective in producing these vital hormones. Hormones fall to unhealthy levels creating a hormone imbalance in the body. Low testosterone, commonly referred to as low T, is the most prominent of these conditions. For more information about men’s health and hormones, please call (843) 492-4884 or contact online. In the meantime, let us continue with the discussion about hormone pellet therapy for men beginning with the symptoms.

Symptoms of Imbalanced Hormones in Men

Testosterone and other hormone deficiencies in men can cause the following symptoms:

  • Fatigue
  • Depression
  • Low libido
  • Muscle loss
  • Memory loss
  • Joint pain
  • Weight gain
  • Mood swings
  • Poor memory
  • Loss of bone density
  • Low stamina
  • Low immunity
  • Lack of skin elasticity

Historically, these symptoms were regarded as normal signs of aging and were considered inevitable and untreatable. Emergent research has revealed imbalanced levels of testosterone and other male hormones to be responsible for many of these ailments.

This greater understanding of the relationship between men’s physiology, aging and hormones has led to the development of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, or BHRT. For BHRT, there is no better delivery method than BioTE® Hormone Pellet Therapy.

Hormone Pellet Therapy and Hormonal Balance

Bio-identical hormone pellet therapy for men (BHRT) uses hormones that are derived from natural plant sources, this makes them chemically identical to those produced in your body naturally. The goal of BHRT is to correct low hormone levels and to restore the critical hormone balance in your system. By doing this, BHRT can help eliminate or mitigate symptoms associated with aging, low testosterone, and other hormonal imbalances.

In the past, bio-identical hormones have been delivered with pills, creams and patches. These methods left much to be desired. They often create what is called a “roller coaster” effect, due to their irregular dosing. Men treated with these forms would experience a surge of too many hormones, but have too few when they needed them most.

The BioTE® process corrects this by using subcutaneous (under the skin) injected hormone pellets. These pellets contain natural testosterone and other hormones to provide a bounty of benefits to your health.

Benefits of Hormone Pellet Therapy

Men suffering from hormone imbalance and low levels of testosterone can benefit from the bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. BHRT can help men feel young again. In addition to restoring sex drive, increasing energy levels and helping with weight loss, pellet therapy has even been shown to reduce the likelihood of diabetes (type 2), heart disease and more.

Hormone pellet therapy is:

  • Easy: Unlike with pills, tablets or patches, pellet therapy leaves no room for user error. Everything is handled with a simple injection, in essence you can get pelleted and forget any additional worry.
  • Natural: The hormones used in pellet therapy are derived from natural plant sources and are chemically-identical to the hormones your body produces naturally.
  • Effective: Pelleting gives proven results for helping both men and women with age-related issues.
  • Lasting: A single pellet injection lasts for months, compared to the short duration of other delivery methods. With BioTE® hormone pellet therapy, natural hormones are present 24 hours a day, providing constant balance and benefits.
  • Consistent: Unlike the “roller coaster” effect from other hormone delivery methods, the BioTE hormone pellet therapy process gives you consistent hormone levels throughout the day that raise and lower themselves naturally.

Experience a Better You with Hormone Pellet

Hormone pellet therapy for men can be the key to men’s health. Whether you’re fighting off andropause or trying to reignite your sex life, BHRT may be the answer. If you’re interested in the long-lasting, effective pellet therapy treatment, please call (843) 492-4884 or contact online.

The Balance of Nature and Science with Extraordinary Benefits!

Balanced hormones are necessary for good health and disease prevention for women and men as we age. Hormone Pellet Therapy optimizes hormone levels with tiny pellets just under the skin.

Hormone pellets release all-natural bio-identical estrogen and testosterone and are absorbed consistently into the body as needed.

It’s Amazing Something So Small Can Make a HUGE Difference in Your Life.

  • Regain energy, muscle strength and greater ability to lose weight.
  • Increase mental clarity.
  • Feel younger and happier again.
  • Increase quality of life while preventing age-related illness.

The path to feeling and Looking Better begins today, to determine if you are suffering from Low-T, your doctor can administer a testosterone level test. This usually occurs in the form of a simple blood test. To schedule such a test, please call (843) 213-1480 or contact online.

The body structure and Osteoporosis

The body structure and Osteoporosis: The Stability of your Bones

The body structure and Osteoporosis

The body structure and Osteoporosis. For a healthy body and well composed body shape, osteoporosis must be eliminated

The body of anything must have some structures for it to be seen as a body. Before you can see the coverings of the body, there is always the framework of that body. In human beings and other animals, the framework is made up of bones. It therefore means that without the framework there will be no body to admire. It is becoming a general concern that this framework is losing its abilities to function as it should with time as we get older. This stability loss is what we want to discuss in this article under the topic of the body structure and osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a health condition which affects the body and particularly the framework of the body which is the bones. Therefore if you have osteoporosis the understanding is that you have lost some bone material. And your bones have become less dense creating some spaces in between. The creation of the spaces on the bones makes them weak and more vulnerable to breaking at very negligible forces (fracture). Doctor Dalal Akoury says that even though osteoporosis mainly affects older people but it can also be very indiscriminative by affecting people of all ages. Yes it is true that the risk of osteoporosis is high as we approach our sunset days, but we can take certain measures to reduce this. There are a number of preventive measures we can adapt to slow down bone loss. Medication may be one of the suggestions professionals will recommend in restoring the bones, but this will be done up on evaluation of individual patient. If you are experiencing certain pain or weakness in your bones then you need to act first and consult with the experts at AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center for speedy correctional measures to be taken.

The body structure and Osteoporosis: What is osteoporosis?

Therefore osteoporosis is a condition that affects bone strength and the word osteoporosis literally means “porous bones”. Remember that the bone is made of collagen fibers (tough, elastic fibers) and minerals (gritty, hard material). This is a living tissue rich in cells that make, mold and resorb (take back up) bone. Initially, as you grow, bone formation exceeds bone resorption. But, as you get older, this reverses and, after about the age of 35, you start to lose a certain amount of bone material. This would then means that your bones will become less dense and loses stability by becoming less strong. This process of bone loss will not be the same in all people but the amount of bone loss will vary from person to person. Therefore if you have lost a lot more of your bone mass, then you have osteoporosis. Meaning that if you have osteoporosis, then your bones becomes bristle and can break more easily than normal, especially if you have an injury such as a fall. If you have a milder degree of bone loss, this is known as osteopenia.

Just to help you understand further what osteoporosis is, I want to further illustrate this porous situation differently. Taking a closer observation of the bone under a microscope, you will notice that sections of the bone take the shape of a honey comb. It means that those suffering from osteoporosis will have wider and much bigger holes and spaces in the honeycomb like structure. This is an illustration that they are having bones which are not healthy and therefore the understanding is that they have lost their bone density and the structure of their bone is not normal. Doctor Akoury recommends that people should have bone density test especially those who are aging and have broken their bones in the past.

The body structure and Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis is Common

Because osteoporosis risk is high in old age, an assumption could be made that the world is generally at greater risk as we approach old age. Nonetheless it is estimated from various statistics that in America alone about 54 million people have osteoporosis and low bone mass, placing them at increased risk for osteoporosis. Studies further suggest that approximately one in two women and up to one in four men age 50 and older will break a bone due to osteoporosis subsequently.

The body structure and Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis is Serious

Besides the pain that comes with a broken bone, one could also have a permanent deformity. Therefore the breaking of a bone is a serious complication of osteoporosis, especially when you’re older. In many cases broken bones due to osteoporosis normally occur in very sensitive sections of the body like the hip, spine and wrist thereby adding to the complications more pain and fatality. Nonetheless it must not be assumed that these are the only sections that will suffer osteoporosis because the other bones can also break. The other consequences of osteoporosis may include:

  • Broken bones can cause severe pain that may not go away
  • Osteoporosis also causes some people to lose height. When osteoporosis causes the bones of the spine, called vertebrae, to break or collapse, it affects your posture and causes you to become stooped or hunched.
  • Osteoporosis may even keep you from getting around easily and doing the things you enjoy, which may bring feelings of isolation or depression.
  • It can also lead to other health problems. Twenty percent of seniors who break a hip die within one year from problems related to the broken bone itself or surgery to repair it. Many of those who survive need long-term nursing home care.
The body structure and Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis is Costly

The estimated cost of the effects of osteoporosis will surprise you greatly if these statistics is anything to go by. It is estimated that Osteoporosis is responsible for two million broken bones and $19 billion in related costs every year. By 2025, experts predict that osteoporosis will be responsible for approximately three million fractures and $25.3 billion in costs each year. What does this communicates to you? It means that you and I are being called up on to pool together and prevent this in the future generation.

The body structure and Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis can sneak up on you

Finally this is not something to look at from afar. Doctor Akoury refers to osteoporosis as a silent disease because you can’t feel your bones getting weaker. The very first time you may realize this is when you break a bone or when it done on you that you are getting shorter or your upper back is curving forward. Therefore if this description suits you and you are experiencing height loss or your spine is curving, help is closer to you that you can imagine. Schedule for an appointment with doctor Akoury today as the disease may be already be advanced.
